Not to sound like a cliché, but spring in New York is definitely my favorite time of year! After a long winter of going outside because you have to not because you want to, there’s nothing better than those first warm-ish days of fresh air. Like when you can get Vitamin D from the sun and not a pill!? That’s the best.
When the season transitions, so does my wardrobe (and not a second too soon!!). I’m dying to pack away the puffies and sweaters and get into some lighter, floatier, omg-it’s-almost-summer gear.
From new trends to standby staples, there’s a lot catching my eye right now. Keep reading for my 12 ELOQUII must haves for April!
Pink, in every shade from blush to millennial to neon, feels essential. I love a short skirt, and the faux leather panelling on this blush one is so good. I like it with this blouse for a monochrome look. And don’t get me started on this smocked collar dress — such a great basic that can be worn a million ways (including over jeans, if that’s your thing!).
A patterned dress is a must have anytime of year, especially spring. For versatility, this floral maxi takes the cake. It’s just as cute with booties and a jacket as it is with sandals and an ice cream cone! For a statement print, I love the pattern on this knee length fit & flare dress.
Are you doing a cold shoulder yet? Personally I wasn’t sure this trend was for me, but then I tried this top with contrast trim and I loved it! I’ll be wearing it with white jeans and trying really hard not to spill coffee all over myself (easier said than done with 3 dogs…).
And then there’s the annual hunt for the perfect go-to lightweight jacket. I love the embellishment on this military jacket. Every girl should have a military jacket, right? But if I’m being honest, my heart will always belong to this silver bomber that makes literally every outfit better!
