Destination: Paris. The city of light, love, enchantment, and my personal favorite—style. Paris is magic. It is charm, class, and glamour. Its qualities lay within the streets, architecture, and culture. Paris to me, is a dream. I often think of Paris as a dream land, as it’s hard to believe a place as beautiful as Paris exists in real life.

Paris is a city that I encourage everyone to visit at least once in their lifetime. This past May I visited this magical city, marking my fourth time in the city. When I go to Paris, the same things excite me over and over again—the culture and the style. The saying “every street is a runway” had to be conceptualized in Paris, because the streets serve as just that- a Parisian runway of style and beauty. The Parisian style is effortless and timeless. How they can look so chic all the time is still beyond me, but they do it so well that it inspired me to dress like a Parisian while there.

Fortunately, I had a suitcase full of ELOQUII styles to help. I opted for mostly dresses, as there is nothing better than a statement making ELOQUII dress and its ease of quick styling while on vacation is effortless, just like a Parisian. My choice of dresses fit perfectly into the Paris style. The majority of women I saw wore dresses or rompers with sandals, flats, or fashion sneakers.

To share my love of ELOQUII and Paris, I’m dishing my favorite things to do in the city of light, as captured with the talented Katie Donnelly Photography. Katie runs her photography business in Paris full time and captures lifestyle, couples and family photography. Her work is truly exquisite and she perfectly captured my love for Paris.

Without further ado, let’s get into the best of Paris, as told through:

The Blonde in the District Must Do Parisian It List!

1. People watch at the Café de Flore

I’m almost positive there is nothing better than enjoying a Parisian cappuccino or glass of wine while sitting at a sidewalk table at the iconic Café de Flore. Located on the bustling Boulevard Saint-Germain, the people watching is the absolute best. Like I said above, the Paris streets are a runway, and believe me when I say—this is one runway you don’t want to miss.

For an afternoon at the Café de Flore, I opted for the Cap Sleeve Faux Wrap Dress. This dress, with a Jackie-O vibe, exudes class and femininity, and is perfect for a Parisian afternoon. I added a vintage scarf, printed flats, a whimsical kitty purse, and topped the look off with my Cat Eye Contrast Sunglasses to hide behind as I was people watching!

2. Wander the streets of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Latin Quarter

After people watching, wandering is the next best thing to do in Paris. The magical streets hold secrets and places to explore- especially in Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Latin Quarter. Get lost among the historic streets and shop in the stores and bookshops, be inspired by the art galleries and street art, and enjoy the sweets and fare at the cafes and patisseries.

Since you never know where the streets will take you, I opted for the Studio Lace Dress, as it can go from day to evening in a breeze. I added my favorite kitty purse and kitty flats to show character. Plus, Parisians love cats!

3. See the Eiffel Tour

You cannot not see the Eiffel Tour when you go to Paris. It is the symbol of the city and is remarkable, really. Visit the sight at dusk, when the golden light is just perfect. Get dolled up and take pictures with Katie Donnelly—hey, you’re in Paris so why not? Or, take a picnic and bottle of wine and watch the sun set on the city of light, and celebrate that you are in the most beautiful place in the world.

For the Eiffel Tour, I decided to go for the dolled up option to have an excuse to finally wear the fabulous Studio Sequin Wrap Gown. If this dress fits in anywhere, it definitely fits in with the style and glamour that is Paris.

XOXO
