ELOQUII 2014 Year in Review

2014 was a year of remarkable strides, not only for us, but for plus size fashion as a whole. The New York Times included us in a profile on the movers & shakers in the industry that ran online on 12/31/2014 and in print on 1/1/2015. We’re splitting the difference by calling it both a great way to finish and start off the new year. What can we say? We like to have our cake and eat it too.

Since our relaunch, we’ve been in a full sprint, delivering new collections every 2-3 weeks. We photographed 19 models on 70 days in 20 different locations, including our first shoot in Ft. Lauderdale (can we go back, please?). Our Citron Midi was a runaway hit, inspiring46 more midi skirt styles. And because we can’t resist a print, worn in matching separates or clashing, we released 40 exclusive designs that we’re still can’t get enough of. We cropped it like it was hot with 41 crop top styles and we taught you how to wear them, too. Coincidence that they pair well with midi skirts? We think not.

All that time on set didn’t prepare us for being in front of the camera. Racked visited us in the office and on set to photograph us for their Working It column. They even called us the “most stylish team in plus size fashion.” Somebody pinch us!

And the best part of the year? Getting to meet you! We hugged at Shop & Swap, GIF’d at our FFFW party, and chatted at the Stylish Curves Pop-Up. Even if we didn’t have the chance to see you IRL, we double tapped and left heart emojis in comments of your Instagram photos on #XOQ. Seeing your smiling faces in ELOQUII makes us feel all warm & fuzzy.

And speaking of your smiling faces, we listened when you shared constructive feedback, left product reviews, commented on photos, and sent us tweets. We turned that feedback into actions with some big changes, including the launch of sizes 26/28 in the very near future.

2014 was great, but 2015 is going to be absolutely amazing. We have some very, very big plans in the works that we can’t wait to share with you!
