Every photographer has a style - how would you describe yours?
Hmm... I would describe my work as quirky and colorful. I’m still developing my style, so I’m sure things will shift over time. I really enjoy when things are slightly off in an image.
How did you get started in fashion photography
I was working as a photo editor, creating digital content for a retailer, when my office closed. After taking a break from work life, I decided to follow my photography dreams. It’s been about a year since I started shooting fashion and it’s been super tough but I love what I do every day.
What do you love photographing most?
I love shooting everything but fashion editorials are the best! There is always so much energy on set, you meet tons of new folks and it’s instant gratification - you can see all your hard work at the end of the day.
What has it been like for you, as a shopper, shooting with the ELOQUII team?
It’s been really cool to meet the team! Everyone is super chill and down to earth.
Do you have a favorite piece from the Indigo Girls collection?
I wear a ton of black when I’m shooting so I can roll around freely but I’m in love with the white perforated top and skirt. It’s a super clean look, with the perfect amount of detail.
Favorite music on set?
I love all kinds of music on set from classical composer John Williams to Drake. I’ve been having a super ratchet month music wise, and I’ve been blasting “Trap Queen” by Fetty Wap on repeat. I’m a bit obsessed!
