The May Edit
With summer just around the corner, here’s what we’re most excited to do/see/wear this month! There have been so many fabulous Met fashion exhibits over the past few years (our lives were forever changed by the Alexander McQueen exhibit in 2011), and this year’s Manus x Machina promises to be equally stunning. And speaking of fashion museum exhibits, we’d be remiss not to pop over The Jewish Museum for “An Unruly History,” the exhibit celebrating one of fashion’s most colorful characters, Isaac Mizrahi. Lastly, for those on the West Coast, we can’t forget that SFMOMA’s long awaited expansion is finally complete!
With the days getting longer, that can only mean one thing: music festival season! We’re particularly excited for The Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, AL (YAAAS to The Weeknd and Alabama Shakes) and Boston Calling (all hail Robyn).
As for what we’ll be seeing in movie theaters this month, we’re counting down the days to see The Lobster with Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz and Love & Friendship, which reunites The Last Days of Disco crew: Kate Beckinsale, Chloe Sevigny, and writer/director Whit Stillman.
Even though summer doesn’t officially start until later in June, we can’t help but scoop up lots of summer-ready looks from our Summer Romance collection. If it has a pineapple on it, like the Placed Print Tie Hem Dress or Tie Waist Cropped Pant, we’re 100% there.
