Welcome to “Take A Break,” where each month, you’ll catch up with a member of the ELOQUII team as they hit the pause button on their busy day at work. First up, meet Alycia—marketing intern extraordinaire and our fearless office manager (don’t let the smile fool you—she can whip an office into shape!).

What have you been working on today? Today has been all about CurvyCon 2016. I’ve ordered what’s going to be a super fun activation for the gifting suite, and I’m planning little treats for the all of attendees—I can’t wait for June 18th!

What do you do at ELOQUII, and how long have you been with the team?

I do a little bit of everything—I assist the CEO and marketing team, as well as general office management. And I've been working at ELOQUII for six months.

What’s the best time to take an afternoon break?

After 3pm—that’s when the slump starts to hit for me.

What’s your go-to activity for taking a break?

I listen to podcasts (The Read and The Friend Zone are my favs) and/or flip through a magazine…and let’s be honest, I take a glance at Twitter. Oh look, it’s Candice Huffine in our striped dress in StyleWatch!

Meet Alycia Snack

What’s your favorite pump-up jam to get you through a busy afternoon?

Can I list four? Because they’re all necessary.

"Infatuation" by Lipstick Gypsy

"Bad Blood" by NAO

"All We Got" by Chance the Rapper Feat. Kanye West & The Chicago Children's Choir

"Feedback" by Kanye West

What’s your favorite afternoon snack?

An apple or a chocolate chip cookie.

What do you want to cross off your to-do list before the end of the day?

EVERYTHING. But if I had to say just one thing, it’s organizing the shifts of who’s going to work when at our CurvyCon booth—we can’t wait to meet you!

Meet Alycia

What’s your favorite thing about working at ELOQUII?

This is hard because I have a billion favorite things. But I guess I’d say that the energy’s always high and everyone’s always giving 100%.

And lastly, what’s your favorite style tip you’ve learned while working at ELOQUII?

"Don’t knock it until you try it," and "colors are your friend."
