Last month, the ELOQUII team got to participate in a super fun project for Redbook Magazine! We sent three of our team members, Kelly, Alycia, and Lizzie to the Redbook HQ for the photoshoot, freshly manicured and equipped with pieces from our holiday collection because, well, our closet = the best closet.

The trio was one of seven groups of coworkers featured in the piece “It’s Special Outfit Season,” an eight-page spread of professional women of all ages and locations in their favorite festive looks. Dubbed the “Fashion Specialists” amidst other groups including ER nurses, book editors, and teachers, we showed off some of our go-to styles for holiday: velvet, brocade, lace (you know our obsessions by now). We wanted to share some behind-the-scenes moments from our excited participants and their favorite parts about playing models for a day. The December issue has already hit newsstands so make sure you snag a copy to see the full story!

“Not gonna lie, I was obsessed with how the Redbook team did my hair! It took two women 90 minutes to get it all perfectly curled, but it was GORGEOUS when they took it down. I even made last-minute plans that night just to show it off.”

"After watching countless photo shoots here at ELOQUII, the most fun (and challenging!) part was getting to be in front of the camera. I tried to channel our fabulous models, testing out a few trusty techniques I’ve noticed but had no idea how hard it would be! Wind blowing, balloons flying, makeup artists retouching in-between shots… it was crazy. At least with my lovely coworkers there I didn’t have to fake a smile!"

"Everyone on the Redbook team was the greatest. They were all so nice and kept the energy high, which allowed me to relax once I got on set. Also, being able to spend time with Kelly and Lizzie was great! We see each other in the office daily but the shoot allowed us to spend quality time and bond while on set."
