Say It With Us: Pronouncing ELOQUII
When it comes to our name, we've heard it all. We get it, ELOQUII is a letter combination you don’t see everyday, and the pronunciation can be tricky. And how did we land on the name, you might ask? Easy—it’s just the combination of eloquent and soliloquy ;)
When we were thinking about a name for this brand, we wanted something that we felt perfectly described us, and eloquent and soliloquy were the some of the first words that came to mind. Eloquent is defined as a forceful or fluent expression. A soliloquy is an act of speaking one’s thoughts aloud by oneself regardless of those around you, most frequently seen in the dramatic arts (i.e. the “To Be or Not to Be” speech in Shakespeare’s Hamlet). Now, how does this relate to fashion? At ELOQUII, our designs are polished, unique, and fashion-forward; there is nothing else like it on the market. By wearing an ELOQUII design, you are eloquent in your fashion choices and present your own fashion speech or soliloquy to the world. Who wouldn’t want to take the stage?
