Blogger Spotlight: Meet Danielle Harris
Danielle Harris grabbed our attention with her confidence and sunny optimism. We’re so excited that she gave us (and you!) the chance to get to know her better in this third installment of our Blogger Spotlight series.
ELOQUII: Tell us about your blog.
Danielle: I started this blog about a year ago as a way to document some of my interests. Last year I was fresh out of college and trying to figure out how to dress less like a college kid and more like a professional woman. I did it more for myself and a few people seem to relate also! My love of television and travel also pops up every so often as well!
E: What three trends are you excited to wear now?
D: This season I’m excited about crop tops. Last spring I was very skeptical about bringing that trend into wardrobe but I’ve figured out a way to make that trend work for my personal style and as soon as it gets warm enough here in Michigan, I’m going for it. I’ve been seeing a lot of 90s throwback styles so I’m like totally willing to watch Clueless and get inspired. I’m also going to give bold prints a try this spring. I usually wouldn’t pick that for myself but I’m going outside my comfort zone and I have a feeling I’m going to love it.
E: What ELOQUII pieces are on your wishlist and why?
D: The Studio Leopard Bralette Top has been on my wish list for a while. While I don’t typically wear animal print, I am the queen of black and white and I could totally make this work. I also MUST have the Colorblock Flutter Skirt Dress! Have you seen it?!?
E: What’s your favorite piece in your closet?
D: My go to piece right now is a bright sunshine yellow peacoat that I wear as a blazer. If I think I’m wearing too much black, I put it on. If I want to do some fun color blocking, I put it on. It really is perfect and I’m upset that I didn’t get it in more colors.
E: Shoutout time! Who do you love to read or watch & why?
D: Recently I’ve been very impressed by Allison McGevna and Tanesha Awasthi. Alli’s style, especially her night life style is always bold without being too much. Tanesha always has flawless style and on a few occasions I’ve tried to recreate her looks for the workplace.
